Privacy Policy
The Kairos (ABN 76272820711), based in Robina, Gold Coast, Queensland, respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you enquire or book with us, how we use it and how you can contact us about it.
What we collect
- Your name, email address and phone number.
- Your event details: date, times, occasion, service region, venue name and address, and any message you send us.
- Your booking choices, the agreement you accept (including the name you type and the date you accept) and your marketing consent choice.
- Payment records. Payments are processed by Stripe, and Afterpay, Zip and Klarna payments by those providers through Stripe; we do not receive or store your card details.
How we use it
- To check equipment availability, reserve your date and confirm your booking.
- To calculate any travel and logistics fee from your venue address.
- To contact you about your booking, send your confirmation and deliver your photos or video messages.
- To keep records of bookings, agreements and payments.
- We only use photographs or videos from your event for marketing if you give consent. Choosing not to consent does not affect your booking.
We do not sell your personal information.
Who helps us
We use trusted service providers to run our bookings, and they handle information on our behalf:
- Microsoft Azure, which hosts our website and booking records. Booking records are stored in Australia.
- Azure Maps (with its mapping partner TomTom), which works out the driving distance to your venue. Only the address is sent.
- Stripe, which processes card payments securely.
- Google (Gmail and Google Calendar), which we use to email you and keep our booking calendar.
We also use the Meta Pixel on our website, which uses cookies to measure how visitors use our site and to show relevant advertising on Facebook and Instagram. You can manage this in your browser or your Facebook ad settings.
We also use Google Analytics and Google Ads, which use cookies to understand how visitors find and use our site and to measure which of our Google ads lead to bookings. You can manage this in your browser, in your Google ad settings at adssettings.google.com, or with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Some of these providers may store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States.
Keeping it secure
Booking records are kept in private storage that only we can access. We keep booking and agreement records for as long as we need them for your booking and for our legal and tax obligations.
Your choices
You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, change your marketing consent, or ask us to delete information we no longer need. Email us at thekairosaustralia@gmail.com and we will respond as soon as we can.
